Sheriff’s Office
Park County Sheriff’s Office in Cody, Wyoming
Park County is located in northwestern Wyoming and includes the eastern half of Yellowstone National Park. The Sheriff’s Office in Cody has been using RIMS since 2001. Today, they use almost every product in the RIMS product suite, including our InCustody Jail Management software.
Park County SO is a “multi-agency” site in RIMS terms. The City of Cody Police Department and the Powell Police Department are also users of a single system. The Sheriff’s Office dispatches for Cody PD; Powell PD has their own dispatch operation. All three agencies maintain separate records management systems within RIMS, but share some common data, principally including person and vehicle information.
